New Moon

So about a month ago a girl in my sister's ward asked her if she wanted to get tickets to the 12:00 am showing of the new Twilight movie. I didn't even see Twilight until a couple months ago when Lisa let me borrow her DVD. Even though I read all the books and really liked them I wasn't impressed with the Twilight movie so why on earth I said yes when asked to go see New Moon, I will never know. Even the night of the movie while I'm waiting for someone to pick me up at 10:00 pm I was thinking, "Why on earth am I staying up most of the night to see this movie I don't even care to see." Well, after seeing the movie my opinions changed. I absolutely loved the movie and had a great time with some really fun girls! It was even worth staying up most of the night! I'm excited for the next one in June!

On the way to the theater my friend asked if we were Team Jacob or Team Edward. I didn't know anything about any teams, but now I must say, Go Team Jacob! Why can't Bella choose Jacob. Then I could look at him more while I watch the next movies!!!
This is some of the stuff we got with our ticket. The mug says, "I like hot guys with super powers (and fangs)!

They had a raffle before the show started and I won this beautiful bracelet with Edward Cullen's licence plate inside a crystal! Lucky me!

Taebo Instructor

This is my friend Janna and I with the best Taebo Instructor EVER!!!!! Saturday was her last day teaching at Gold's Gym. I have attended her class pretty regularly, with the exception of maternity leave, for over 5 years. I am so sad she won't be there to inspire me to work harder and better myself. I have loved her class and her! She is a sweetheart and will definitely be missed!

So this picture was taken at 8:00 am after taebo class. I know I'm looking lovely! I should have put on some makeup or something:)

Duet Piano Recital

Julia just started taking piano lessons from Kristi Rigrup in September. Her previous teacher was having baby #3 and didn't feel like she could keep teaching. As much as we loved Alicia, we are very excited to have Kristi as a teacher. Julia has never done a duet before so this was a new and, in my opinion, valuable experience. Julia has also never done festival before. That is where you go and perform your piece and get judged. Julia was pretty nervous for festival. She had a darling partner named Evan whom we had never met before they were assigned to be duet partners. They did well, but she and Evan had a hard time keeping the rhythm together. They recieved an Excellent ranking at festival, which is good, but we're hoping for a Superior next time. It just takes a little more practice, that's all:)

These pictures are from the Duet Recital they had the week after Festival. I wasn't able to go because of that darn strep throat, but Eldon and my mom said Julia and Evan did a great job!

Too cute to spook!

So I forgot to take my camera to our ward Trunk or Treat:( The kids had a great time although Andrew wanted to be done about halfway around the parking lot because he wanted to sit somewhere and eat his candy. Emma would have gone around again and again. I think she did go to the car next to ours at least 3 times. She thinks trick or treat is fabulous! We stopped at G & G Hult's after the Trunk or Treat. Andrew is still a happy bat at this point.

Then we headed over to G & G Tuckett's for some yummy soup and cousin play time. We didn't take this picture until the end of the night and Andrew was over Halloween. The mean, grouchy bat had arrived, but don't the other kiddoes look adoreable!!
