Last Friday we went to City Creek Canyon in Salt Lake City. It is a beautiful park near the Capitol Building and it has a trail that goes up the canyon.
I tried to get a picture with the view of the park below, but I didn't do it justice.
Emma playing in the water with a very dirty bum.
Jules:)
Emma has to jump off everything these days. She jumped from the wooden planks to the dirt trail at least 3 times.
All the kids running up the steps.
Andrew got his shoes wet and then no longer wanted to walk in them. Sam was volunteered to give him a piggy back ride.
After we ate our picnic lunch some of our group went and took a self-guided tour of the Capitol Building. Julia and Chloe got to take the tour with Lisa, Tessa, and Josie while I headed home with the three little ones.

The Reservoir
We spent the day at the Spanish Fork Reservoir last Wednesday. The kids had a great time playing in the sand and water.
Max and Julia are chillin' on the beach watching the other cousins play in the water.
Andrew and Emma having a little conversation. Emma didn't move much from her spot in the front of the stroller. She was happy as long as she had plenty of snacks.
AJ was well shaded and well-behaved the whole day!
Emma and little B playing in the water.
Jules enjoying the warm sand after leaving the cold water.
Tessa, Josie, Julia, and Chloe swimming.

Julia's New "Do"
Wednesday, June 17, 2009
A group of friends and cousins hiked to the Y last week. It was hard for me because I'm so out of shape. I was just glad I made it all the way. It felt good to get some exercise in such a fun way.
Julia, Chloe, Rissy and Tessa with the view of Provo in the background.
Josie, Chloe, Tessa, and Julia. Cute cousins. These girls did not complain at all about the hike. They did great!
Julia on the Y overlooking the valley.
Lisa and I. Baby AJ made his first trip to the Y at just 7 weeks old!

AJ's Blessing Day
Sunday was AJ's Blessing Day. Eldon gave him a beautiful blessing. We are lucky to have many family members close by to support us. AJ could not have been better behaved. He slept through his blessing and then through the next two hours of church, thanks to Aunt Lisa.
AJ wore the same blessing outfit Andrew wore for his blessing. I was worried that he would be too hot in it since it's June, but it turned out to be a little chilly and even rained in the morning.
Gotta love the baby acne. It always shows up just in time for the blessing.
Getting a good family picture gets harder and harder with each new addition.
It's hard to stay awake when you're holding a sleeping baby. Just ask Grandpa Tuckett!
And Eldon:)
I wonder what Grandpa Hult's excuse was!

The Grotto
Summer just isn't summer until we have made at least one trip to our favorite hike spot up Payson canyon. The Grotto is the perfect hike for kids and it ends at a waterfall. We love it!
Brynn and Jeanna came along and B just loved walking herself on the log bridges.
Thankfully Josie helped Andrew cross this bridge. Since I had AJ in the snuggly it was hard to do both.
Julia turned for a quick photo. She was excited because we were almost to the waterfall.
I let Julia hike up to the top of the waterfall this year. It made me nervous to have her go up without a grown-up, but she did just fine and was so excited to be up there all by herself. She is getting so big.
